Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Air Lift Air Shock Controller Compressor System for air shock absorbers. Now, this system is going to let you monitor and automatically adjust the air pressure in your shock absorbers with this onboard air compressor and single-gauge dash panel, all without you leaving your driver's seat. Now, this does come with universal fittings. And this is going to connect to most aftermarket and factory air shocks. It includes everything that you see here on my table before me.
You're gonna get the onboard air compressor, and this has a maximum pressure, as indicated by the label here on the bottom, of 100 psi. So it does come with this compressor. And then you're going to get this single-gauge dash panel. Let me come around my table here and give you a closer view of this, lining that up with my camera here. So even though this gauge goes up to 200, again, the compressor has a maximum pressure of 100 psi.
So you're gonna be able to, with this switch, inflate your air shocks. You just push and hold to inflate. And then we've got a button down here that's gonna let you deflate your air shock, so complete control from your driver's seat. And then you are going to get the air lines here, the hardware, and the wiring that you need, some cable ties to tighten everything up, and instructions to guide you through that installation process. So this should be relatively easy for you to set up.

The compressor kit is compact and complete. Installing it did away with manually testing pressure, and hand pumping at the schrader valves while filling my Firestone Air Bags. I was able to install it in a blank compartment over the passenger side rear wheel well in my Toyota FJ cruiser. This allowed me to keep the FJ stock look with no extra holes drilled or visible gauge.
Sent me a previously opened item. Perhaps a return that they didn't check or get back to manufacturer so installed the whole thing anyway even though this company has done this several times to me and what do you know? Deflation ball valve leaking tremendously can't hold Psi and can't inflate to required 100 psi. It gets to about 40 psi because the pump is pretty fast and my lines short. Then in about a minute down to 0 psi. I'm never ordering from them again and they need to compensate for my time on the whole ordeal. Wrong air bag kit and faulty air compressor kit for the correct bags I got through air lift myself straight from manufacturer. This company blows and is the same crap shoot from 6 years ago. NEVER AGAIN ETRAILER. NEVER AGAIN. I'll have to jump through some untrained persons hoops just to try to get refunded. IM ORDERING DIRECT AGAIN.
Easy to install and works great. Had an issue with the gauge accumulating moisture. Air Lift replaced it at no charge.
Great system!! Don’t even bother installing an airbag system without an onboard compressor!
For the money, this set-up is hard to beat.
I installed it on my 2002 Toyota Tundra TRD 4x4 along with a set of Firestone Ride-Rite airbags to aid in leveling out the truck when pulling large trailers.
I ran into some issues installing the supplied gauge panel- in the tundra there is litterally no place to mount the panel aside from the dash pocket on the driver side. Unfortunately, this pocket houses my electric brake controller as I like it close by in case I need to manually override the brakes by the lever on the unit.
My solution was to remove the lower, center dash panel and cut the holes to house the gauges.
This proved to be no simple task as the srs airbag pcm is located right behind this panel- i had to trim the pcm mount, elongate the mounting holes in effort to slide the srs pcm back enough to allow clearance for the gauge. I also ended up using an angled trim from auto meter to aid in this as well.
When wiring the lights for the gauge i tapped into one of the illuminated trim rings for the factory power outlets- this allows the gauge illumination to only come on when the headlights are turned on.
I decided to mount the actual compressor under the center of the bed on a support rail using a custom bracket made of 1/8" steel plate as there is really not much room for it in the cabin and my storage cubbys under the seat are already full.
The only downside to this compressor is that it takes a good while to reach 100 psi on the gauge. This is why I rated 4 stars instead of 5- Im sure the addition of an air tank would help tremendously.
FYI- Fastenal carries the proper push fittings for 1/4" air lines- i needed two extra tee's (about $20 for both) as i wanted schrader valves to remotely fill it if the compressor decided to give up the ghost.

I'm very happy with my purchase. I have it on my 05 Titan and I pull a dump trailer that I've hauled 6 ton on ,I air up my bags to 45 lbs while I'm hauling then push the button and air down to 10lbs with no issues.

I bought this to go with the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs - Rear Axle. I asked online if they were compatible and was told yes. when I installed everything, I had to go buy an extra T conection for the air lines coming from the air bags. Napa did have the T that I needed.

The onboard compressor works as advertised! It makes load leveling a snap when carrying a heavy load or pulling the 20’ trailer. This was a great purchase!
Still working fine no leaks even. Compressor is hidden behind a wall panel. The switch and gague are near the trunk release on the dash.
It solved the loading problem for my Buckeye Tailgate vehical.

Very excited that it shipped before the projected date. And arrived early. However, it was the wrong part. I ordered the 160 pound compressor. I received the 100 pound compressor. Pity. The info and manuals were fir the 160 pound compressor. But, the compressor was not. Drew, customer service, appears competent and certainly apologetic. He assured me it would be resolved soon. We’ll see

Replaced it with another product. Both airbags had leaks and were replaced by manufacturer 3 times. No longer 5 stars. 2 at best.
